On prompting

Describing music is hard. Pasting a song isn't.

Most AI music tools ask you to describe what you want in words. "Melancholic indie folk with fingerpicked guitar and a female vocalist around 85 BPM" is an exercise in translation — from the song in your head to a prompt a model can parse. And you still don't know whether what comes out will feel right.

You already curate taste every time you add something to a playlist. Paste a Spotify link and our AI listens to the music the way another musician would — instrumentation, tempo, mood, vocal character, production style. The song becomes the brief. No translation required.

Not "songs like Bad Bunny." One specific Bad Bunny track — its beat, its energy, its textures become the brief. A song, not a vibe.

The song you love is the best brief you'll ever write.

How it works

  1. 01

    Share one song you love

Paste the Spotify link to the exact track. The AI listens to the music — instrumentation, tempo, vocal character, production — the way another musician would.

  2. 02

Tweak it or leave it alone

Edit the AI-written description, pick a genre, choose your vocal language. Or just hit generate and trust the first take.

  3. 03

    Listen to something new

Get a full-length original song with vocals and lyrics, generated in minutes. Not a remix. Not a cover. A new song — in the spirit of the one you love. Commercial rights on Creator and Pro plans.

Friday drops

One new song, every Friday — shared with everyone in your genre.

Pick your genre once. Each Friday, you and everyone else who picked it wake up to the same new track — a lo-fi beat before the weekend, a synthwave anthem on Saturday morning. One small ritual, on us.

Good to know

Common questions

What is SoundMuse?
SoundMuse is an AI music generator that writes original songs in the style of a track you already love. Paste a Spotify link and get a full-length song — verses, chorus, vocals, lyrics — in your chosen language, in minutes. Not a remix or cover; a new composition inspired by the original's style.
Do I own what I generate?
Yes. The output is yours. Creator and Pro plans include commercial rights, so you can release, monetise, or ship the music in paid work. Starter and the $1 trial are for personal use.
Do I need a reference song?
No. You can skip the paste and write the prompt directly. But letting a song be the brief is what SoundMuse does differently — you'll usually get better results pasting one track you love than typing a description from scratch.
Does it sound like a copy of the original?
No. The AI reads the style of the song you paste — instrumentation, tempo, mood, production — and writes a new piece in that vein. It doesn't reuse audio from the original. The result is a new composition.
How long does one song take?
A couple of minutes end-to-end. Each song is up to 2 minutes long — verses, choruses, a real arrangement, not a loop.
What languages work?
Over 50 vocal languages, including English, Spanish, Japanese, German, French, Portuguese, Hindi, Korean, Arabic, and more. The AI writes singable lyrics in the language you choose.
What's a Friday drop?
One new SoundMuse track every Friday, shared with everyone who picked the same genre as you. Not a credit you spend — a small weekly ritual included on every paid plan. Switch genres whenever your taste changes.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Monthly plans end at the close of the current billing period — no questions asked. The $1 trial has no subscription attached.
